MSD ACTIVITIES
Medical Services Department (MSD) of General Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (GPL) organized two Scientific Seminars from July to September 2006. A Scientific Seminar was organized by GPL on “Role of combination therapy in the management of hypertension” on July 14 at Castle's Restaurant, Khulna . Another Scientific Seminar was organized by GPL on “Role of combination therapy in the management of hypertension” on July 28 at Hamadan Restaurant, Al-Hamara Shopping City , Zinda Bazar, Sylhet. Professor M Nazrul Islam, Professor and Head, Department of Cardiology, Dhaka Medical College was present as a Keynote Speaker on both of the Scientific Seminars. GPL also arranged 14 Thana Doctor Conference, 23 PC Conference and 10 Clinical Meeting from the month of July to September all around the country.

In November GPL exported for the first time in Hong Kong . Hong Kong is one of the very prestigious and one of the most developed countries in Asia , where international quality comes first. So, getting pharmaceutical product registration in Hong Kong is a land mark. Pharmaceuticals finished products of GPL are registered in different countries and this number is increasing day by day. Our products are registered in Sri Lanka , Maldives , Kenya and Viet Nam . Very soon we will be expecting orders from those countries also.
MULTI-SEAS & RICE SALINE CAMPAIGN
GPL arranged 13 Medical Seminars all around the country from the month of August to October, 2006 for a promotional campaign of Multi-seas & Rice Saline in different Medical colleges & Sadar hospitals. Medical Seminars were arranged on “Role of Cod liver Oil”. Renowned Professors & Specialists took part on those seminars.
