We are very much enthusiastic about your comments & response regarding MediNews. In the last MediNews (Vol.2, No.1), we have received more than 3000 reply cards which creates a landmark in regards to response.
 

COPD: Breathless not Helpless is our current issue in the Medinews by the eminent Professor Mirza Mohammad Hiron, Professor of Respiratory Medicine, National Institute of Diseases of Chest and Hospital. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is progressively threatening us within our modern & rapidly industrialized society. The key to safeguard from COPD is nothing but awareness and widespread practice of healthy habits as well as recommended pharmacological approaches.

As we are aware of the fact, the important roles to cause COPD are lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors. Things can be changed which requires application of legislation, access to prompt diagnosis & pharmacological treatment as well as preventive measures. The most crucial risk factor is nothing but cigarette smoke which burdens COPD patients mostly. The current issue emphasizes these areas of discussion with enormous and resourceful observations.
We feel proud to dedicate the MediNews (Vol.2, No. 2) for the World COPD Day 2006 on November 15. Thus to improve awareness & care of COPD, we hope to make a better & safe environment for the generations to come.

In the product profile we focused our Cadmin Plus Tablet (Multivitamin & Multimineral Tablet), that helps to regain the strength of the bone.
In the pictorial diagnosis we highlighted complications & X-ray features of some clinical conditions of COPD.
