A Scientific Seminar on 'Depressive Illness & Its Management' was jointly organized by GPL & Jahurul Islam Medical College & Hospital on August 06, 2005. Raffle draw of Mediquiz (Vol: 1, No: 2, June 2005) was arranged, at GPL monthly meeting on August 25, 2005 at La Vinchi Hotel, Dhaka.
A Scientific Seminar on 'Antipsychotic Drugs & Management of Acute Disturbed or Violent Patient' was jointly organized by GPL & Dept. of Psychiatry SOMCH, August 09, 2005. A Training program was organized on 'Customer Care & Team Building' for GPL Executives on Aug. 30 - Sept. 01, 2005 at GPL Head Office.

Medical Services Department (MSD) of General Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (GPL) sponsored four Scientific Seminars & one CME program from June to August 2005. A Scientific Seminar was jointly organized by Jhenaidah branch of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) & GPL on 'Anxiety Disorder and its Management' in Jhenaidah on June 13, 2005. Mir Zaki Azam Chowdhury, Director Marketing, GPL addressed the participants and Dr. C. M. Ehsanul Khaleque, Medical Services Manager, GPL delivered the Vote of thanks. GPL organized another Scientific Seminar on 'Depressive illness and its Management' in Jahurul Islam Medical College & Hospital, Kishoregonj on August 06, 2005, 'Osteoarthritis and its Management' in Community Based Medical College of Bangladesh, Mymensingh on August 07, 2005, 'Antipsychotic drugs & Management of Acute Disturbed or Violent Patient' in Sylhet Osmany Medical College & Hospital, on August 09, 2005. GPL also organized & sponsored a CME program on 'Role of Risedronate in the Management of

Osteoporosis' in Rajshahi Medical College & Hospital on July 20, 2005.

The participating doctors appreciated General Pharma for organizing the Scientific Seminars. All the seminars ended with attracting raffle draw & refreshment.
